The path to Eric Thomas’s success has been a hard road traveled. Eric had a hard life growing up, never knowing his father and often arguing with his mother. At 16 Eric dropped out of high school and left home, he was in a long line of high school dropouts in his family. He was homeless for two years, sleeping in abandoned buildings and cars, also eating out of garbage cans. One day he finally got sick of being a nobody and went to go get his GED. It took him 12 years to get a 4 year degree from Michigan State University. While at college he started speaking to kids from Detroit about getting an education and pursuing their dreams. With a work ethic that is second to none, he does whatever it takes to succeed and continually grow in life. A family man, he always takes time to be with his wife and kids, creating as much balance in life as possible. Never forgetting his roots, he still works as if he is broke. Now an international motivational speaker, he is never satisfied with his current status in life. Empowering thousands to live up to their full potential. From someone who was homeless and with mo money, built something that changes lives in a positive way. Showing that it truly doesn’t matter where you come from, you have the potential to accomplish anything in life.
