In our lives we have ups and we have downs, good times and bad times. It’s an inevitable part of life, sometimes we may be living in bliss and other times we may be in the depths of despair. When tough times come our way we take it as if life is punishing us for something we did, never really taking the time to look at a disastrous situation in our lives. Sometimes we don’t see the lesson until it has passed. What we must realize is that there is opportunity in every disaster. Opportunities that will help us grow in life are usually disguised as adversity or temporary failure. It is during our darkest moments that are the difference between success and failure in our lives. We must look at our tough times as a learning experience, taking something of value from each situation. The essence of life is growth, so no matter what happens to us we must grow. So when you are in those tough times where you just want to give up on life, take another step. Continue to work hard until an opportunity comes your way or you make your own opportunity for your life. Whatever you do don’t stop, idleness only gives time for doubts and fears. When disaster strikes it is a sign that we must adjust our plans in order to achieve our dreams. Look for the opportunities hidden in every disaster and make the most of your life.
