Eggs are one of those foods that have benefits no matter what your fitness goals are, whether it is building quality muscle, burning body fat or gaining strength. Eggs are complete protein with all 20 amino acids, one of the only natural food sources with it. Eggs are a fast digesting protein that helps get essential nutrients into our bodies to aid in muscle repair and recovery. Whether it is egg whites or whole eggs both are a healthy option to add into a diet. The egg yolks have quality fats that help boost testosterone and burn body fat (omegas). They also raise good cholesterol. Eggs are full of vitamins and minerals including vitamin D, B vitamins, selenium, and Vitamin A. When on a diet to lose body fat, eggs can be filling and make you less hungry throughout the day. There are a variety of ways that can be prepared, making it able to continually mix things up. Start your day with some scrambled egg whites and some oatmeal to get off on the right track.
