With a $700 loan he started Paul Mitchell hair products (he only had 3 products), he couldn’t afford color ink on his bottles so he used a simple black label on his products, which has become his signature. He went from hair salon to hair salon selling his products to anyone who would buy them. With an unwavering persistence and absolute faith in his vision he continually built the Paul Mitchell company into a multi-billion dollar company. Today John Paul Dejoria’s net worth is $3.2 billion dollars. A man who was homeless, with little capital, and minimal resources built an empire.
