Tolerance vs Ignorance

Friday Focus

Ignorance is not knowing what is going on around you while tolerance is knowing what's around you but allowing it to happen anyway. Ignorance is one of the most destructive habits that society practices. Ignorance shows that people lack gaining new knowledge in their lives. It shows to the world that someone who is ignorant has “learned it all” in life, severely limiting your potential in life. On the other hand tolerance shows that a person has patience and can block out the world around them. Tolerance is good to a certain extent but can be destructive if it becomes a blind ignorance to the world around you. When used correctly tolerance will teach you valuable life lessons that can propel you further in life. Do not be someone who is ignorant of their surroundings, understanding that the world around you has an effect on your life. Break away from negativity and begin to create a more positive atmosphere for your life. Tolerate when necessary but also understand that tolerance has its limits as well. Rid yourself of ignorance and gain tolerance to better your life.
